  • The Blue Ridge Chapter in lovely Roanoke, Va., is doing well. We are trying to increase the membership attendance at meetings and increase the membership with the younger nursing population. We are trying to start this with area nursing students. Normally we have only 12-15 attend meetings regularly. We have 5 NGNA Fellows in our chapter. Our chapter meets quarterly in the evening starting at 5:30. We normally have dinner, a business meeting and CE. We meet at area SNF’s that will let us use a meeting room. We do not normally pay for a meeting space. We plan one conference yearly in the spring or fall depending on the speaker availability. This is normally in conjunction with Radford University nursing program. We are also discussing community service and the involvement that we would like to have.

Please contact Susan if you are interested in joining this chapter or attending a meeting!
