Our Chapter is meeting on a regular basis, although we have cut it down to four times a year. (April, June, October & December- no meetings in February or during the summer) We have a speaker presentation with nursing contact hours at each meeting. We have over 150 members in our chapter, but many are Chapter only members. Approximately 50 members attend each meeting.
Our next meeting will be held in October.
Each year we provide our own convention scholarship award and send 1 member to the NGNA convention. We also provide a High School Scholarship award to a senior student who plans to attend nursing school.

CJC-NGNA is a local chapter of the National Gerontological Nursing Association that was founded in 1999. We are a non-profit group of healthcare workers, (mostly nurses), who are concerned with providing quality care to the older adult. We have over 150 members in our organization.
Our mission is to enhance the professional development of the Gerontological healthcare worker through collaboration and education.
