Committee Notes:

The Advancing Excellence in America’s Nursing Homes Campaign is a national initiative to improve quality of life and care for nursing home residents across the United States. The Advancing Excellence Committee (AEC) is charged to increase awareness among NGNA members through dissemination of information about the campaign with the overall goal of increased involvement. AEC activities include (1) highlighting progress made by the campaign in SIGN publications, (2) incorporation of special session into the 2011 NGNA convention conducted by Advancing Excellence staff, and (3) linkage with long-term care special interest group to further enhance participation in the campaign.
